• C.A.R. Health Plan Open Enrollment:  November 1, 2023 through December 15, 2023
• New benefits and rates take effect:  January 1, 2024
• Changes and enrollments take effect:  January 1, 2024

Where to Find Current Plan and 2024 Rate Information:

• Existing Plan Members:  Confirm your current coverage and check 2024 rates at RealCareOnline.com. (Live 11/1/23)
  • Log in with your last name, date of birth, last 6 digits of your SSN.  Click “Shop 2024 Plans” to view your new rates.
• ONLINE Enrollment/Changes:  C.A.R. Member Benefits Portal (Live on 11/2/23)
  • Register and/or log in to confirm current coverage, review new rates and benefits, enroll and make changes)

What is Changing?

2024 Kaiser General Plan Changes (Apply to all plans)

Below is a summary of significant changes for 2024.  Additional contractual changes may occur.  For detailed information on contract changes, contact RealCare.

2024 Kaiser Plan Comparison – Changes highlighted

• Kaiser HDHP HSA Compatible Plans have changes to deductibles and out of pocket maximums
• Kaiser Bronze 6300/65 becomes the 6300/60 Plan and has an increase to the out of pocket maximum
• Kaiser Bronze 5400/60 has an increase to the out of pocket maximum
• Kaiser Silver 2800/65 plan becomes the 2950/65 plan and has an increase to the deductible and out of pocket maximum
• Kaiser Gold 0/30 becomes the 0/35 plan and has an increase to the out of pocket maximum
• Kaiser introduces a NEW Platinum plan for 2024

Making Changes

You can change plans or add/delete dependents by using the Kaiser Change Form.  All changes must be submitted by December 15th.  Changes will be effective 1/1/24.

If you wish to drop your Kaiser coverage, submit the C.A.R. Health Plans Termination Form.
